I have to work with these people
Me: blah blah blah, TIE Fighters, blah blah blah
Kathleen: what's a TIE Fighter?
Me [shocked]: ...what?
Kathleen: I know they're from Star Wars, I just don't know which ones they are
Me: Twin Ion Engine Fighters? They were the ones favoured by the Imperial army?
Kathleen: yeah, I still don't know
Me [leaving, grumbly]: that's ridiculous...
Me [other office]: hey, so Kathleen doesn't know what a TIE Fighter is!
Kelsea: um, I don't know either
Me: but you got me into Harry Potter! You *have* to know things like that!

Teeth
I like teeth. It’s not something I think about often, but when I do, I realize I like them a lot. From a purely aesthetic viewpoint, I like them because they’re part of faces, and faces are something I really like and often think about, especially when they’re smiling. Teeth are a big part of that.
Beyond aesthetics, I like tapping things against my teeth. I don’t know...
