Hiatus?
I think I’m done with Tumblr (and my blog-blog), at least for now. There are a few reasons, but the main one is the wonderful computer-less weekend I just had.
Anyway, it’s always been very cool/weird to see all the people following this Tumblr—thanks for reading! If you want to chat, send me an email to my first name at my full name dot com.
Different Tastes
Travis: What are you doing?
Matthew: I'm making cookies out of the extra dough from those feta pockets
[10 minutes later]
Matthew: Want a cookie?
Travis: Of course, thanks!
Matthew: Oh my God, these are terrible...

Travis: Seriously? They're delicious! [he ate them all]

Beta version of the new Open Office is out today. It’s “not recommended for production” at this stage (it installed and runs smoothly on my machine), but this is exciting. You no longer need the X11 environment to run on Mac OS X!
Around the World
hostileholly:
I found the Around the World link, but how to you see which tumblrs are from certain cities? When I try to click on the map, it doesn’t work—it’s a hand that zooms in and out instead of clicking.
I am so obviously not computer savvy.
Help. Please.
Once you’ve zoomed in enough, you can click on the red dots. They bring up links to the Tumblrs. Enjoy!

Someone bought Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2 through our Amazon Affiliates account at Canadian Literature. I can’t add anything to make that better.
Just head lettuce, mayonnaise, and bread; it’s delicious. Next time...
– Cashier at the grocery store. Anyone else remember that SNL skit, “KFC Shredders”?
Did you want anything to drink? Milk, maybe?
– Same girl as yesterday.
The radio station I listen to at the office just played Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive”, followed by Extreme’s “More Than Words”. This has made my “stop singing so much at work” resolution extremely difficult.
